Things to do
The road to Hana has beautiful sites to stop at along the drive. It is a full-day’s trip so it’s best to start early. Some like to drive mostly through to Hana to see the seven sacred pools and make their way back through the other sites to avoid crowds who start at the beginning. It’s best to pick a few spots rather than briefly stopping at them all. The drive is a windy, narrow road in areas fyi and tends to get busy. The sites are beautiful though and should be seen at least once.

Snorkeling and relaxing on the beach right outside the resort is a favorite activity of ours. We purchased our own snorkeling gear off Amazon for convenience and cleanliness preferences.

Costco
We like to stop by Costco on our way from the airport to get food items so we’re not eating out every meal. The resort room has a nice-sized pantry and refrigerator in the kitchen which makes it convenient.

If you’re interested in specific activities we do advise to book ahead as they tend to get booked, especially Luaus. There is also a concierge on site that can help with booking.
