Check out golfnow.com and you can probably play this place midweek for less than $20. It's a fun course and worth every cent of that, for sure.

The River Walk goes all the way from the far eastern end of Sparks to very nearly the western end of Reno. The are through the downtown corridor winds through shops, bars, and then continues through parks. To the east, it follows the Truckee River through several parks, through Sparks' industrial district, and terminates at a great swimming hole.

People forget to go to the Black Rock before and after Burning Man. The quiet desolation of the Playa is an amazing thing to behold. It's about a three hour drive from Reno and worth the trip.
