Book before going! It is a highly loved place, since the food is delicious and the prices are very fair. You can get typical german food (pfannkuchen, schnitzel) plus the usual burgers.

GO HERE! The best traditional German food place in all of Hamburg. And they have their own beer ;-)
Far better and less expensive than the "hofbrau haus". It is right behind the Hamburg town hall.
