La Petite Fringale is 10 minutes by bike from the chalet.
We love this place for lunch. Go for a swim in the lake (there's a lifegaurd during summer months) and then enjoy a beautiful crepe or some local French dishes with the background of the mountains and the lake.
Can't wait to get back here!

This is literally a 30 second walk from the chalet!
It is closed during winter, but during the summer it is a lively campsite with a great restaurant and cocktails. Very convenient if you're feeling lazy and don''t want to travel to far for a meal & drinks out!

Chez Ma Cousine is a 10 min walk from the chalet, and is perfect if you're looking to dress up and splash out on some of Annecy's finest cuisine & cocktails.
Prices are higher than other restaurants around, but the location as well as the food makes up for it in our opinion

I don't know how we found this place, but it was the best find ever!
We go here every visit to Annecy, as the food is simply incredible.
This is located in Annecy-le vieux (right beside Ó Savoyard restaurant) and has been our favourite since our first visit.
There are hundreds of restaurants in Annecy le vieux, but we always stumble back here as a good ole reliable!
P.S. Try the Tartiflette Alpache. It's a local Savoyard dish and it is incredible. Thank me later!

This is located in Annecy-le vieux (right beside Ó Savoyard restaurant) and has been our favourite since our first visit.
There are hundreds of restaurants in Annecy le vieux, but we always stumble back here as a good ole reliable!

Activities
This is around 20 mins on a bike from the chalet.
There is a closer beach Plage de Doussard which is a 10 min walk, but if you're looking for a proper sand beach with better facilities, this is for you.
The cycle itself to the beach along the cycle path is worth the journey alone.
Note: During the summer they charge a small fee into the beach as it's very busy - so just be prepared.

This is around 20 mins on a bike from the chalet.
There is a closer beach Plage de Doussard which is a 10 min walk, but if you're looking for a proper sand beach with better facilities, this is for you.

The first photo is the nearest access point to the lake where we go for a swim. It's public and you're able to spend as long there as you like.
The village of Doussard itself is worth a walk in to along the cycle path (roughly 20 mins walk or 10 min cycle).
P.S. There's a lovely pizza place called "Pizza Sympa". Definitely give it a go and tell us what you think!
