Great day hike around the island. Access by car or foot. Beautiful views! This is also where the famous Black Rocks are located, where locals can be found cliff jumping into the lake.

The Lumberjack Tavern is RIGHT across the street from The Outpost. This bar is featured in the movie, An Anatomy of a Murder. We love going here when we're at The Outpost, it's a great place to get a feel for the local vibe.
We recently tried their food, and LOVED their burger and hand cut fries. We're foodies and would give their burger and fries a 10/10...for bar food! :) ..they also have pizza with homemade dough and sauce!
