A day by the lake
Just a 5 minute short stroll from the cottage and you’re at Sandy Beach, the village's favourite swimming spot. Maps can be found in our visitor information area. Pack a sandwich and sunscreen and relax for the day. BBQ, playground and toilet facilities are close by. Many memories have been made here.

We are so lucky to have The Olive Tree Brasserie just a short stroll from the cottage. People come into town to eat here, the food is that good! Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Bookings essential but if they are full you can always order it takeaway!

You can order a roast meal for one with all the trimmings or a roast chicken or pork roll to go. Milk, bread, all the staples plus a great range of fresh fruit and vegetables makes not leaving town an easy option.
