Kirroughtree Forest visitor centre is approx 40 minutes from Portpatrick and offers a variety of walks for everyone. There are 3 different walks, through the forest, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside. If you want to cycle instead, you can bring your own bikes or hire. There are various routes you can take through the forest, catering for all levels. There is also a cafe where you can stop for lunch.
