Listen to live music in the apple orchards with cider and cocktails served from the Somerset Cider Bus and a picnic or lunch from the visiting food wagons. A very relaxed event held most Saturdays. Tours of the cider farm are also popular with visitors. 360 degree views from the top of Burrow Hill are fabulous and a sundowner picnic in clear weather is just spectacular.

Wells is a fabulous trip out, with it's Cathedral and quirky shops and eateries. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday and there are many local food stalls.

South Petherton is small but perfectly formed. The local pub, The Brewers Arms often shows sports fixtures and there is also a restaurant with a varied and delicious menu. A few independent gift shops and the usual; butchers, bakers and green-grocers and a couple of cafes for a cuppa and cake or lunch.
We have a lovely restaurant called Holm which has recently opened in South Petherton. It has received wonderful reviews in the national press and we understand visitors travel a long way just to visit.
