We were looking for something different to do with a group of teens. This was a fun evening adventure - learned some history about the area.

There are several mountain coasters in the area. I can't compare them because this is the only one we've done. We walked to it after dinner at Chesapeake's and the timing was perfect. No line (even on a summer night). We did 2 rides - first was at sunset so we could still see Gatlinburg but the coaster was lit up, second was in the dark. SO fun!

We hiked all the way up to the lodge. It was tough but doable. Lucky for me, they sold advil at the cafe once we got there because my knees were feeling it. The view at the top was worth it!

We had a beautiful day in July and made it to the top. Luckily the fog had lifted when we got up there so we had a great view.
