Novara Foreshore has a nice park for the kids, boat ramp and off lead area for dogs. There are lovely walks too as well as BBQs and an area to picnic.
It is also a great spot to try and catch some crabs in season (Dec - Aug). We have crabbing scoops available for guest use.

Enjoy the cafes, watch the kids play, meander through the nearby shops or even catch a show at the theatre at Mandurah Foreshore. There is a playground and a nearby skatepark for older children.

An easy day trip is to Lake Clifton to view the Thrombolites - living rock like structures. There are nature walks to explore the surrounds which can be followed by a grazing plate and glass of wine or a beer at the small local winery Cape Bouvard Winery.

Feed the animals or hold a snake (if you dare) at Peel Zoo a small zoo located near Pinjarra. This is located approximately 30 mins from the property so we recommend combining with other attractions nearby if the kids have extra energy.
Amaze Miniature Park is on route with a hedge maze, model buildings and mini golf. There is a Decadent Cs nearby for chocolate, coffee and cake that also has a small park for the kids.
Ravenswood Hotel is also on the way and has pub food, a small playground and lovely views of the River.
If you want to venture further past Peel Zoo, Pinjarra town is a 5 minutes drive and has a large park for the kids by the river. There is also a suspension bridge along the river. Jarra Infusion cafe is kid friendly with great coffee. The Pinjarra Bakery is also famous for its pies (although we think Miami Bakery near us is just as good!).

Giants of Mandurah
