The food is excellent with a killer Mai Tai to start. Mick operate at store on the first floor with rock and roll memorabilia and his own antique car.

Haleakala is the iconic volcano forming the east side of Maui. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning as well as the view from the top. The summit sits at over 10,000' so be sure to bring warm clothing if you are there early or late. There are many great hikes and opportunities to camp or picnic in the park.

The summit sits at over 10,000' so be sure to bring warm clothing if you are there early or late. There are many great hikes and opportunities to camp or picnic in the park.
Also known as Big Beach, Makena Beach is a long beach great for walking and big waves. It's located 6 miles south of the condo. Bring the beach chairs and enjoy the day. There are food trucks and portapotties for facilities. Other beaches to visit are Kamaole 1 one block from the condo. It's a 1/2 mile long beach with quiet waves - great for kids and families and building sand castles. Ulua Beach is good for snorkeling and slightly bigger waves for older kids. Keawakapu is a long quiet beach great for walking and enjoyed the view of expensive beach homes.

The winding 36 mile road to Hana takes you through lush rainforests and stunning views of the ocean. There are waterfalls and botanic gardens to visit along the way. It's a whole day adventure and I recommend packing a picnic since there are few opportunities to purchase food along the way.

They offer a gourmet four course Polynesian meal with food flavors from New Zealand, Tahiti, Samoa, and Hawaii with hula dancing to match. It's expensive by well worth it.
