This is where you stop on your first day! Don't buy grocery store fruit when you can pick your own. Walk through the groves and choose your own oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, lemons, limes and more! Availability is dependent on the current season.
We enjoy this activity almost as much as we enjoy the fruit. But the fruit is incredible, it is what you would imagine Florida to taste like!

Our very own resort has a beautiful wetlands space, with boardwalk bridge linking one side of the resort to the other. Early morning walks may reward you with the sight of otters in play. All day long you will see egrets, turtles, many species of herons and blooming lily pads.. The bridge is about 3 football fields long, wandering along looking at the wildlife is a great way to start the day.

Backroads to Disney!
Avoid traffic Hwy 192 and I-4. Instead take Westside North until it turns into Avalon, continue on Avalon until Western Way. Turn right onto Western Way and follow Disney signs to get to your favorite park or Disney Springs.
Some other routes may be quicker to certain parks, consider taking Funie Steed Rd to Epcot.
Look for alternative routes on GPS rather than taking the high-traffic routes.

The Saturday Car Show at Margaritaville's Sunset Walk
A quick drive to Margaritaville's Sunset Walk (via Hwy 192 or Funie Steed), free parking, restaurants and live entertainment. At 4pm on Saturday's, there is a free car show, from classics to your favorite new make and models.
Viajar con niños
Disney Skyliner
When possible, take the skyliner to get from park to park at Disney. There is no need to close up the stroller, it will fit! It is a very relaxing ride with a breeze through the open windows. A great rest for Mom and Dad, and in-stroller nap option for the little ones.
Note: the skyliners are not air-conditioned but move swiftly and have screened windows for air-flow.
