We love Della Santinas because of the DELICIOUS Italian food, and the cosy, romantic atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is incredibly sweet, and knowledgeable about wines and the food. It is located just off the corner of the plaza.

A very well-known Sonoma restaurant, the girl & the fig has a lovely ambiance, good food, and an even better port flight for dessert.

OSO is a new restaurant, right on the plaza. It has a very cool vibe, dark lighting and decadent small plates, perfect for sharing.

Great place for takeout - delicious food, and reasonable prices. You can eat there as well, but the ambiance is not necessarily 5 stars.

This is a great place for an inexpensive sit down lunch or dinner in a fun environment. The portions are nicely sized, and there is a large variety of Mexican options so everyone can find something they’ll enjoy.

Taqueria Lagos - There are a lot of taco trucks in Sonoma, but this is my personal favorite They park in Armando’s auto center around 7:00 every night. They stay open late into the evening, and on the weekends it is a popular stop on the way home from the bars. If you go there in person, you can expect a wait of 20-30 minutes, unless you are lucky. If, however, you love Mexican food, I suggest you try this at least once during your stay! Burritos and tacos are great, also worth trying are the gorditas.

A cute bakery/cafe located right on the plaza, the Basque is always bustling with locals and visitors. Try to grab a seat outside and enjoy the people watching!

Cline has a great selection of free tastings. The property is beautiful and it is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic accompanied with a bottle of wine.

Right across the street from Cline, Jacuzzi also features free tastings. The Sangiovese, a personal favorite and is absolutely worth a try.

Steve Ledson is a local builder famous for his extraordinary craftsmanship. He has built countless high-end homes in the valley, including all of Armstrong Estates, just off the plaza. In addition to this Iconic Castle tasting room in Kenwood, there is also a wine bar/hotel (almost as nice as Casa Bonita) on the plaza. This is the only portion of sidewalk on the plaza that is marble. His wine is not sold anywhere but at the tasting room.
