This place is fairly new, and has a great atmosphere and location. Their menu isn't huge, but everything we've tried is great. I love the grilled chicken with asparagas!

Great local higher-end food option. They are a bit pricy on most of their items, but you won't be disappointed. Very interesting food combinations developed by a local chef.

This is a good place for families when you don't want to cook at home. A diverse "greasy food" menu, but their salads are good as well. A family owned local eatery. Nothing gourmet, but a good option for fast food. Always busy.

Fun for families
This amazing recreation center is in Kamas, which is about 30 minutes from the cabin, but worth the drive if you have kids. We love the pool, which includes water slides, lazy river, hot tub, swimming lanes, obstacle courses, children splash area, etc. It has something for every age. Also, there are other amenities like weight facilities, racquetball, basketball, etc. GREAT deal for a full day of fun. Check below for hours of operation.

Fun fishing and a little play area for kids outside the visitor's center. They stock this pond, and there are ducks roaming around. A quick 5 minutes down the hill from the cabin.

Sightseeing
This trailhead is only about 1/2 mile northwest of the cabin on Snake Creek Road. You can access the hiking and ATV trails either on foot or by vehicle.
