In Wassenaar
The Dunes of Meijendel are only a few minutes bike away (15/20min by walking).
There are plenty of very nice bike routes and hiking paths that will lead you to beautiful natural sights !
If you're lucky you might encounter the wild cows (the same as the one in picture in the dinning room!) .
There is even a cute restaurant to eat famous "Pannekoeken" (Dutch big pancakes), and you can reach the beach through the dunes in 20min from the house.
It is also a nice way to reach Scheveningen.

No need to enter into details, but if you stay long enough, a visit to Amsterdam deserves a full day. If you go by car (35minutes), we recommend you to park next to Centraal station.

Our Dutch bikes
You can borrow or bikes, but be careful they are old and classical Dutch bikes ("Oma fiets" = literally "Grandma bike"), with no gear and back-pedalling to break.
Use at your own risk !
If you use our bikes, please take care of them (ONLY 1PERSONE PER BIKE, attach carefully and never leave them at the train station...).
