Padula Charterhouse, in Italian Certosa di Padula (or Certosa di San Lorenzo di Padula), is a large Carthusian monastery, or charterhouse, located in the town of Padula, in the Cilento National Park (near Salerno) in Southern Italy. It is a World Heritage site.

From a review: "The caves of Castelcivita are stunning and a rare find! The tour does not take too long and the climb is not strenuous. The tour was in English, Italian and German while I was there, and I believe they provide a translator for all languages. There is a delicious family-run restaurant at the site and the food is absolutely delicious! The olive oil is made from the olives of Castelcivita and it is unmatched! If you drive from Agropoli or Paestum, make a day trip of the visit! Besides the cave and restaurant, you can climb an ancient watchtower and wonder at the view of the countryside; and walk through the charming winding cobblestone town to visit old churches and even get a home-made Irish coffee at the local pub! It is a must see and should not be missed!!!"
