Always bring shoes for the river.
Walking on those river rocks can be a little painful without shoes.

River safety is a must!
Please make sure children are well supervised at the river. There are several deeper spots in the river. If you are canoeing or kayaking remember your life jackets. The game warden patrols the river and will give tickets if you don't have one for each person in your "boat".

Pack a towel and sunscreen for the river.
A foldable chair is great for the river. You can sit it right out in the water to stay cool.
