I remember my first time going to the Pier when I was a child. It was magical with the merry go round & the numerous games to play. It has only grown in time & now has a roller coaster, a trapeze school & arcade. Amazing view from the top of ferris wheel!!

James Corner designed this park adjacent to the ocean. Among his other creations was the High Line in Manhattan. Because it's in close proximation to the Santa Monica Pier & 3rd St. Promenade, it's a nice detour and a pleasant walk
