We love going here for dinner and sitting on the patio and watching all the expensive boat docked right beside! This is also close to the local lock which allows boats in and out of the lakes

This is a beautiful provincial park that has no entry fee. A great set of walking trails for a variety of different ability types. Very busy on the weekend!

Take an afternoon and stroll around the park and historical area as well. Finish off at one of the local restaurants for a pint and a view of the lake. I definitely get the boat envy here!

Port Carling is the quintessential Muskoka town. It has all the local charm but also features some great favourite clothing stores. Take an afternoon and stroll around the park and historical area as well. Finish off at one of the local restaurants for a pint and a view of the lake. I definitely get the boat envy here!
Bracebridge is approximately 30 minutes from Bala and has many different stores and shopping locations. The downtown area is nice to stroll through and do some window shopping or pick up a coffee and sit in one of the local parks.
