Next to 2 lovely beaches, ‘The Cove’ is great for lunch whilst you’re enjoying a beach day or enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace and watch one of the stunning sunsets.

Only 2 miles from Haven.
If you’re feeling energetic there is a stunning walk to Hope Cove from Haven which takes about 1 hour each way.

They serve seafood and snacks throughout the day, you can sit outside or take your food to the beach. The ‘Beachhouse’ is small so if you want to be guaranteed a table inside it’s definitely best to book!

The ‘Crabshell’ is on the waterfront in Kingsbridge and is a great spot to enjoy a wonderful meal in a fun and buzzing environment. The have live music on the terrace on a Friday evening.
Be sure to take crabbing lines if you’re taking the kids at high tide as it will keep them busy whilst you enjoy a chilled drink.

Embankment RoadThe ‘Crabshell’ is on the waterfront in Kingsbridge and is a great spot to enjoy a wonderful meal in a fun and buzzing environment. The have live music on the terrace on a Friday evening.

In the afternoon, from 4pm they fire up the BBQ and serve a wide range of favourites.
North sands is 2 miles from Haven, there is parking.
If you’re feeling like a good walk, there is a walk down a bridle path that leads directly to North Sands. 45 mins each way.

Seafood lovers this ones for you! Tucked away on the tidal road between Aveton Gifford and Bigbury, the 'Oyster Shack' is a casual dining spot with amazing fresh local seafood. The Crab and Lobster are our favourites.
Make sure you check the tides before you go though as you the tidal road will cut you off when the tide is in! Don't worry there is another (slightly longer route)

15 miles from Haven, Dartmouth is a stunning navel town with a beautiful harbour and wonderful ambiance. Filled with historic buildings and narrow streets, its a fabulous place to spend the day. There are two ferries that cross the river Dart to Kingswear where you can jump on a steam railway towards Totnes.
Home of Mitch Tonks wonderful restaurant the Seahorse as well as more local fish and chip shops, pasties and ice creams!
