A very Unique dining experience. Located about 16 miles south in Fayetteville TN. Is is set in the old jail and fire house building dating back to the Civil War! You should call for reservations, I have supplied their number on the inside cover of the guide book. Perhaps you can dine inside one of the original cells! Food and beverages are great. Reasonable prices too. Nice steak house. Great shopping on the Fayetteville square as well as a historic movie theater still operating there.

Our small town grocery store - Woodard's, is located 2 miles south of Lynchburg and on your way back to the Guesthouse. Besides groceries and gas, it boasts a very popular eat-in or take-out deli with fried chicken, pizzas and southern fare. Also the only place within 15 miles for food after 6pm!!
From the guest house head east on Lois Ridge road, left at the stop sign, then left at the next stop sign, then 1000 ft on your right!

If you are a history buff, this is a great stop! 38 miles (50 min) drive through beautiful Tennessee farm and horse County!

This is a small family operated cake and candy company that uses a "Local Whiskey" in their recipes. It is located just a couple of miles outside of Lynchburg. It's a short tour of about 45 minutes. they have absolutely excellent cakes and their pecan pralines are the stuff of legend! Take TN 55 towards Tullahoma and about 1/2 mile past the Jack Daniels Distillery you will see a small blue info sign pointing to the next left turn. Just follow the signs!! You simply have to try the Pralines!!

They are open for tours April thru November 9am to 4pm. Located at 134 Falls Mill road in Belvidere, a short 12 mile scenic drive through our back roads. For a $5 admission this is a great tour. Highly recommend.
