We go to this bar before dinner as the tapas are fantastic & good value. TIP: wait to see what they give you with your glass of wine or beer before ordering as you may not need to order any tapas with the freebies they give you! Also has a restaurant which serves high quality Asturian dishes; good for a special occasion but expensive.

Eating out in the LGBT neighborhood Chueca can be tricky with over priced eateries and stuck up waiters. This place (and its newly opened sister accross the street) offers good value menu del dia (set menus at lunch) and decent wine and tapas , served with no attitude..buen provecho! TIP: Try one of their delicious & great value tortillas. Also has a branch in the super cool La Latina quarter.

Iconic building by Antonio Palacios (also known for City Hall and Instituto Cervantes building ), check out the exhibitions, eat lunch in the restaurant on the ground floor (set menu , great price) , known as the gold fish bowl and soak in the history. TIP: go up to the roof terrace for a cocktail to see the best panoramic views of the city. 3€ entrance fee to go up but well worth it if it´s a nice day and you going to have a drink or snack.
