Sightseeing

This is one of the many White Sands beaches along the Jervis Bay coastline, and any visit to our area should include a visit to one of these beaches. For walkers, the beautiful White Sands walk is a must! It starts in Vincentia (Plantation Point) and meanders past many of the white sands beaches to Hyams.

Take a Whale Watching or Dolphin tour from Huskisson pier! This is a great trip, well organised and great fun. The dolphins often "guide" the boat along, playing in the water around the boat. There are about 60 dolphins in the Jervis Bay pod, and sometimes, you can see a few of them from the shore, or the pub, whilst you dine.

This is a small township set on the banks of St Georges Basin. There are great walks along the shores of the Basin, and a wonderful place for photographers too. This town is one of those towns in Australia, where kangaroos really do bounce along the streets at dawn and dusk. Seeing the joeys in their mothers' pouches is marvelous.
