This doggy daycare is only 10 minutes from the Country Cottage! (Hint: take 296 to Kist Rd to Abner Creek). They are super professional there, love dogs and have a nice indoor and outdoor play area. They group the dogs by size or demeanor and make careful watch of the pups. We bring Dude here usually 2 times a week. If you have a long day out and about, this is a great place to bring your dog for fun and exercise. Highly recommended.

10 minutes from cottage. Yes, they do offer samples for a small fee, and they make all kinds of moonshine. Yes, 'Sugar Tit' is actual historic place! Recommend to get some cookies and creme moonshine and add it to your coffee! Yum!

BMW fan? Or just like cars? Great museum and gift shop. The production tour is amazing but usually you need advance reservations for the tour. Still the museum is top notch.
