Forty Niner Country Club, a William Francis Bell-designed classic, is an established club on the eastern side of Tucson. The course is inviting to golfers of all skill levels with the traditional layout and gently rolling terrain which allows players the option to walk, even during the summer months with several welcome shade trees throughout. The golf course provides a visually inviting 18-hole experience while providing a solid challenge for beginners and advanced players alike.

Drive or bike up the Mt. Lemmon Highway to small town Summerhaven for skiing and sledding in the winter, cooling off in the summer, and year-round dining and trails to explore. At nearly 10,000 ft, Summerhaven is a beautiful mountain retreat from the desert and ~30 degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer. It's hard to believe it's only a 35 minute drive from the 49ers.
