Only a 35 minute walk away in Boughton Monchelsea Place, previously Boughton Court is a deer park within its grounds with stunning views from the local church, a must see and visit.

The Headcorn Aerodrome is within a 25 min drive away with daily flights of the historical Spitfire! You can even book a flight yourself. Idea for anyone interested in aviation with a carpark running along side the runway (10 metres away) at a cost of £3 per day parking... Great value....

Bodiam Castle is only a 30 minute drive away, Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion. We have been to this castle many times and love it. It is only 30 mins away from Chimney Barn
