We will start our tour in the Cathedral of Guadalajara as it is identified as de heart of the city, it's 15 min. walking from de apartment. It is currently distinguished by its neo-Gothic spiers and its beautiful history. An iconic building of “La Perla Tapatia”. The Guadalajara Cathedral, or the Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption of the Holy Mary, parish headquarters of the archdiocese of Guadalajara. Location:Av. Fray Antonio Alcalde 10, Zona Centro. Leaving by the side of the Cathedral and walking east you will find the liberation square, distinguished by 2 large fountains and the statue of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla representing the abolition of slavery. Continuing down the road you will find the Degollado Theater

Leaving by the side of the Cathedral and walking east you will find the liberation square, distinguished by 2 large fountains and the statue of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla representing the abolition of slavery. Continuing down the road you will find the Degollado Theater

It currently has a collection of 160 figures distributed in 12 themed rooms in which visitors will be able to appreciate historical figures, from the political, artistic and sports environment of Mexico and the world, fictional beings and local personalities. Open all days, 11 am to 8:00 pm

Pieces such as an original Egyptian mummy as well as an African goddess of fertility stand out

If you continue walking down Calle de Morelos, you will arrive at Plaza tapatia. It is characterized by having in the central part of its esplanade a huge fountain with the monument "the Immolation of Quetzalcoatl", a sculpture made of 5 bronze pieces and carved by hand that represents the sacrifice of Quetzalcóatl rising from the earth towards infinity to light the sun and give us new light. In front of the monument is the Jeweler Center. There begins the Walk to the Hospicio Cabañas. The Jalisco State Secretary for Tourism is located on this plaza

The very affordable entrance fee $ 45 MXN. Weights, the tour is guided if you so choose, and it really is what I suggest, because that way you know the history of this magnificent place and the explanation of the mural paintings by the master José Clemente Orozco.
