The construction of this Hamam was ordered during 17th century by Kosem Sultan, a well-known sultan in the Ottoman Empire for her courageous acts of power at the time. Meaning "in tiles", "Çinili" name comes from the tiles that the Bath had when it was first built. Unfortunately, the original tiles were stolen. Still, this Bath represents a good example of the Hamam culture of the society in Turkey.
