The Central Market is a great place to check out Jersey's buzzing food scene, producers offer up the best of local, and there are plenty of artisan shops for you to try. La Bouche is highly recommended, a centrally located cafe and a great people watching spot. Flour is the perfect place to pick up some delicious cupcakes, and Casa Paco offers a taste of Spain with amazing tapas.

Jersey Zoo, formerly Durrell Wildlife Park is a must see when in Jersey. Well known thanks to the zoo's founder Gerald Durrell, the zoo is an amazing habitat for some unusual and rare species, the zoo contributes hugely to conservation efforts around the world and is a cause most definitely worth supporting. Our tip is to pack a picnic with goodies from the Central Market, borrow a hotel blanket and enjoy a day at your leisure. If you can catch a 'Durrell After Dark' event or one of the open air concerts over the Summer make sure you don't miss it!
