This is a pretty well-known breakfast place. Frank's is the oldest continuously operating diner in the US. Featured on Food Network, New York Times, etc. My guests all recommend it.

Tuscany Bisto has some of the best Italian, or maybe the best in the area. I delight every time someone suggests we go there for dinner. Quite an amazing combinations of flavors.

Funky little place that has indoor and outdoor seating. Has some history and has been around for a while. Quite popular with many of our guests.

Kenosha has a large Italian population and some great pizza to show for it. I will not be able to name them all but Infusino's is one and they do deliver. So dine in or have them bring it to you.

I was trying to pull up the Culvers on Sheridan as it is the closest. I think it is about 7500 Sheridan. This is my daughter's favorite restaurant. While a bit pricier than McD's, the food and the menu variety makes it *so* much better. They are well-known for their custard - but everything on the menu is delicious. Bet you can't stop over there just once!

This might be my most favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food is a good value, unbelievably tasty, and generous portions. They do not serve alcohol so if that is a big deal you might want to avoid..

This is a great Mexican restaurant. Food is good, Margaritas are killer. A bit on the pricier side (for Kenosha) but great atmosphere.

Great grocery store with a huge organic section. They make their own sushi in store. You can find most everything at Festival. It is about 5 minutes away by car. Great wine section as well.

Entertainment & Activities
Great place to just hang out on the beach - all the area beaches are great. Clean, rarely crowded, and there are miles and miles of beach in the area.

If you have a chance visit Lake Geneva - it's located about 40 minutes west of us. The mail boat tour on Geneva Lake is rich in history and a lot of fun. Learn about the mansions on the lake and watch the mail get delivered as well. They also have other great boat tours if you miss the mail run.

Bong is a great place to visit or to camp. It is a huge park with lots of activities going on.

Lots of museums in the area, and lots of history. Kenosha was a leader in auto manufacturing for over 100 years with cars made by Nash, Rambler, American Motors, and Chrysler.

Everything Else
Tenuta's is a Kenosha Landmark. If you like anything Italian you gotta check this place out. They have more olive oils and balsamic vinegars than you could ever imagine. Many of their products come from Italy and their wine selection will make you dizzy.
All this at some very reasonable prices. They even have outdoor lunches during the spring and summer made to your delight. I have many Chicago friends that know of this place and visit every time they are in town.
