Great Thai food in a proper pub. It's not the closest pub, but it's worth the walk/cycle/drive if you like good Thai food.

It's nearby and the food is decent. It's pub food, with all the classics, nothing amazing, but good when you all want to eat and no-one wants to cook!

Drinks & Nightlife
This is the best beer pub in the area with really good real ales on draft. It also has a decent wine list compared with most pubs. The food is really good too - Greek tapas style. Plus it's only 5 minutes walk from the house!

There's a Tesco too, but I always feel the Co-op has a slightly better range. Either is good for the essentials though.

Getting Around
You can walk to the station from two directions, which is important if you're cutting it fine. There is no bridge over the platform and once the level crossing barriers have gone down you're stuck if you need to get to the other side. Trains to Cambridge leave from the Southern platform (approached via London Road) and trains to London leave from the Northern platform (approached via Mingle Lane).
