The biggest market in Amsterdam, runs everyday except sunday. It is about 500m from our apartment, it's a nice place to eat something good and cheap and the market offers a wide choice of food.

Go early (opens at 10) or you will most likely have to queue to get your cookie (no more than 15mins though).
The shop is located in a very narrow street and the inside is supernice as well, not to mention the smell.

The park is quiet and well lighted by the sun until pretty late!
