Local Beaches
None of the beaches are pet friendly unfortunately.
Water temperature is good from November through June (average of 20 degrees).
Come at the right time of year and you'll see whales and dolphins on their migration.
Your local beach from the Greenhouse. It's long, clean and has a rockpool for swimming if you don't like ocean swimming. A few good surf spots too.

Dog Friendly Areas
Although our beaches aren't dog friendly - we do have some great places to take them!
The beach you can take your dog to that's 5 minutes from the Greenhouse. Always busy with dogs of all shapes and sizes, Rowland Reserve has a huge grassed area, beach and ocean access for your dog to play, sniff and swim.

You can't miss the giant coathanger. If you're feeling brave and fit, book in for the Bridge Climb and check the amazing views. Even if you don't do the climb, you can still get majestic views over the harbour and Opera House
