Bagel sandwiches are worth the wait @ this new, funky little coffee shop. Bagels are fire-grilled. Ask for the Tinker Bagel. CBD coffee & amazing pastries. Sit outdoors in the lovely courtyard when the weather is nice!

Sightseeing
A drive up the mountain to experience KTD Monastery is well worth the effort! KTD is the land center for the Karmapa, a well-known Tibetan teacher. You can have a tour of the property, or just walk into the meditation hall and sit in the deep silence for a few minutes.
Here is also access to the famed Overlook Mountain Hike, which takes about an hour to reach the top. There you can climb a fire tower for an incredible 360 degree view of the Valley.
