Great place for the family to try some craft distilled spirits, play bags, or have a picnic. They have food trucks on site. The lower level is accessible; bathrooms not so much.

This adorable little area is only 15 minutes away. It's full of little shops and restaurants. Just take Rt. 71 west to Rt 281 north. Go over the river and follow the signs.

This lovely park is a great place to sit by the lake and have a picnic. You can put your boat in here, as well.

Great mix of Polynesian and Tex Mex - I know that sounds weird... They have a lift to get to different levels of the restaurant. It's right on Lake Austin, next to the damn. The kids love to watch the fish that swim up to the pier. If you have a boat, you can put into Lake Austin just a block away, and you can pull your boat up to the pier.
Avoid weekends; it's really crowded.

Deep Eddy is a landmark distillery located about 45 minutes away in Dripping Springs. It's a must see, but the drinks can be expensive. Enjoy the food trucks, and the accessibility is great!

Our favorite winery! The wine is good, and the view is lovely. Weekends are busy. The bathrooms are accessible, and there is a fairly accessible path to get to the tasting room. The upper tasting room is crowded and up two steps; however, if you are in a wheelchair, they will bring the tasting down to you in the lower tasting room.
Great music, if it is a bit sketchy looking outside. This place was owned by Willie Nelson's manager. The food is ok, and the bathrooms are not great for full-time wheelchair users. It is a must, though.

This cute little place sits on top of the marina, and the food is good. They have a brunch with live music, too. Access is good.

Get locally made vinegars and olive oils after you've done an extensive tasting of all their great flavors! Grab a glass of local wine. You'll feel like you are in Tuscany. Access is excellent.

Get out of the heat at Barton Springs Pool, which is really just a natural spring from the Barton Creek. It's a steady 65 degrees, which feels amazing when it's 100 degrees out.
There is a pool lift, and ramps to get down the hill. Wear water shoes, as the rock bottom can feel slimy.
