Villa Monastero, a property of the Province of Lecco whithin the municipality of Varenna, is one of the most interesting attractions of our territory thanks to its strategic location, its history, its landscape, its environment and for the different services which it can offer. The House Museum, the historical and noble residence, is at its core: in the year 2004 Villa Monastero was given the title of "Casa Museo" by the Lombardy Region and since then its fourteen rooms can be visited following a charming itinerary.

Villa Carlotta is a villa on Lake Como within the municipality of Tremezzo. It was built for the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in 1690 and extends over a 70,000 m2 (17 acres) area facing the Bellagio peninsula. An Italian garden with steps, fountains and sculptures was laid out at the same time. Among the statues, Mars and Venus by Luigi Acquisti is remarkable.

Via Guido Delmati Always one of the most beautiful and romantic residences of lake Como, Villa del Balbianello at Lenno (CO) overlooks an enchanting wooded promontory, at the extreme point of the Dosso di Lavedo, which plunges into the waters of the lake forming a small peninsula. A must see!
Many artists of the valley were part of the renown "Mastri Comacini" and were specialised in the art of “Scagliola”, the imitation of marble and marble inlay using variously colored chalk mixes, of which several examples can be seen in this museum and around the valley.
