Good Eats, Close By
Very close to the house, but this place gets very busy on weekend nights, so be aware of that. There's an indoor family-friendly dining room that serves classic American and seafood fare. Outside on the back deck are lake sunset views plus dining. After about 9 pm, the outside has more of a bar vibe than restaurant. I recommend anything with Bang Bang sauce, the shrimp, and a good ol' margarita.

The seafood here is DELICIOUS. Accessible by car or boat, get your hands on the shrimp and crab legs here. You will not be sorry.

A little bit of a haul by car, it's closer by boat from the house, and closes early these days— 8 p.m. in the summer. Sunset view is great if you can catch it while they're still serving. Great crab cakes!

Classic hibachi and very good sushi! No views, but a great bite to eat if you're in the mood for something different.
