You can take your car on the ferry and drive to Fort Fisher, the Acquarium, Kure Beach, Carolina Beach...even into Wilmington if you want. You can also head over to Bald Head island on a ferry - but you will either want to bring a bike or rent a golf cart or bike there, as they do not allow motor vehicle traffic on the island.

You can take your car on the ferry and drive to Fort Fisher, the Acquarium, Kure Beach, Carolina Beach...even into Wilmington if you want.
