Getting Around

Tram stop VIKTORIA ZIZKOV is a 5-minute walk from my apartment. Tram no. 9 and 5 will take you to Prague 1 , VACLAVSKE NAMESTI (Wenceslas Square). It is only 3 tram stops, 7 minutes (only 2 intermediate tram stops between the stops) or 20-minute walk. Tram no. 15 or 26 go to NAMESTI REPUBLIKY (Square of Republic), Prague 1. It’s only 4 tram stops, 7 minutes (only 2 intermediate stops) or 20-minute walk (2 km). Tickets can be bought at newsagent’s (in Czech TRAFIKA) or in a vending machine on the tram stop (but you can only pay with Czech coins). The price is 110 CZK for one day pass and 310 CZK for a three-day pass. The single ticket costs 32 CZK for 90 mins and 24 CZK for 30 mins.
