A great finish to a walk, the Crown does great food, and you are sure of a warm welcome from the hosts Dan and Jen.
Located at the bottom of the village, it is 5-10 minutes walk from Ruscombe House.

Recently renamed ‘The Leather and Lace’ this refurbished pub is now a funky diner with good outdoor space.

The Duck is a couple of miles away, (7min drive or 50 min walk) but is a great drinking and eating pub. We recommend that you book though, as it gets very busy!

A fab, quirk, pub that does amazing food. It is a little out of the way (about 20 mins) but well worth the trip.

Cider Farms
Roger Wilkins Cider Farm in Mudgley is a place like no other!
The UK “Independent” Newspaper voted his cider Number 1 for Somerset Ciders saying:
“Not a cider for the novice – a sip of Wilkins’ will put hairs on your chest. And those hairs will sprout hairs. Roger makes his cider the traditional way, leaving the juice to ferment naturally in wooden barrels, resulting in a fearsome, robust, Lucozade-hued booze that’s not ready to tap until Roger says it’s ready. Roger ‘doesn’t do email’ but welcomes phone orders for his sweet, medium or dry ciders.”
Well worth a visit!
