The beach has a small entrance fee, however it's free usually after 18:00. Spend the day here to get that tan you always wanted or indulge in the great Hungarian food options at the beach bistro's. Take a dip in the water and sip a drink while cooling down in the heat of the summer. Great for romantic trips or bringing the whole family down for some water activity fun!

Make it a day trip and visit the amazing Héviz, just a short 30 minute drive from our cabin.

Castle museum where you get that old world touch you came to experience in Hungary. Hungary boasts lots of beautiful castles and the one in Keszthely is not only one of the most famous, but also one of the most beautiful in my opinion. Tip: Check out the castle chapel.

Take a stroll up to the echo hills, where you can hear your own echo when you make a sound, walk downtown and enter the beautiful monastery or go hunting for some real Hungarian chili paprika - a must in a lot of Hungarian dishes. Tihany is also famous for it's lavender fields, and you can purchase lavender oil and dried lavender to bring home and place under your pillow for a good night's sleep.
