Super convenient and tasty Thai food restaurant located directly across the street within walking distance on Gulf Blvd (John's Pass business complex)! Open 7 days a week from 11:30 A.M. to 9:30 P.M. You can find their menus online at thaiam2.com (including sushi!). You can call ahead to make a reservation; I usually just walk over! There is indoor and outdoor seating. They do take-outs and deliveries (within 3 miles | $10 minimum | dinner only).
This is my go-to Thai restaurant when in Madeira Beach and I always recommend the Nam Sod! I've been here so many times and every time I've gone everyone I've eaten with has been very happy with their food.

Fun outdoor spot to watch sports and have a few drinks! It gets two thumbs up as it's within walking distance of the cottage in John's Pass. It also draws a good crowd and has great wings! But, in case you haven't heard of Hooters, it's famous for its wings and waitresses! The waitresses wear very short shorts and tight clothing - just a head's up in case you haven't heard of Hooter's before!

This restaurant is within walking distance of the cottage and is very casual. The menu changes daily and is written on a chalkboard. It is also a very small place but so unique and with a tropical island feel! Middle Grounds, my other top recommendation, is dressier & located over the bridge.

This restaurant is within walking distance of the cottage and is very casual. The menu changes daily and is written on a chalkboard. It is also a very small place but so unique and with a tropical island feel! Middle Grounds, my other top recommendation, is dressier & located over the bridge.
This Madeira Beach family-owned treasure opened in 1950 and prides itself in selling candies and making homemade ice cream, fudge and italian ice! It's truly an old-time mom-and-pop candy and ice cream store! My family loves to go here and is just perfect for kids. The lines can get REALLY long as this is a very hot spot in Madeira Beach. I consider going to the Candy Kitchen a must! And how can you go wrong with homemade ice cream?? It's just delicious!!

Putt-putt golf course that I've heard good things about! Apparently it is pricey but if you purchase a second round it is significantly cheaper. Fun for kids and putt-putt is always a fun activity!

Fort De Soto was named America’s Top Beach for 2009 by Trip Advisor. Whether you are sitting on the beach or kayaking near the still water's edge at Fort De Soto, you find yourself absorbed in the abundance of natural beauty for as far as the eye can see. The largest park within the Pinellas County Park System, Fort De Soto park consists of 1,136 acres made up of five interconnected islands (keys). It really is a tremendously beautiful place! You can spend the day picnicking at the Island, shelling on the beach, or kayaking. There are restroom facilities. Growing up in FL, my school took our class to Fort De Soto Park.

Located at the extreme west end of State Road 586. I have never gone to Honeymoon Island but heard from several guests how amazing this Island is. According to them, it is a must-see! And it on my list of places to go in the near future!

The building itself is architecturally magnificent! The Dali Museum celebrates the life and work of Salvador Dali (1904-1989) and features works from the artist’s entire career. The collection includes over 2,100 works from every moment and in every medium of his artistic activity, including 96 oil paintings, many original drawings, bookworks, prints, sculpture, photos, manuscripts and an extensive archive of documents.
