The river walk is along the Hillsborough river and they also have e boats where you can Captain yourself or hire one to take you to many a few different restaurants and bars. This is also where you can take the Tampa/St.Pete ferry Express that takes you roundtrip to downtown St.Pete near the pier and a lot of restaurants

if you like kayaking they rent kayaks and life vests are a must. these waters are crystal clear. if wanting a little water park action the state park has buccaneer bay and this is also where you can find the famous mermaid shows
