This place is hidden behind the EarthFare supermarket and is hands down my favorite place for brunch (which is saying something Charleston!). My favorite dishes is the sweet potato eggs benedict and the goat cheese and strawberry stuffed french toast. Very reasonable prices. Note: they do not serve alcohol.

If you're looking for food that both tastes incredible and is probably different from anything you've ever had before, this is the place. I really didn't know what to think about "southernterranean" before I went the first time, but I am absolutely a convert. The dishes are on the pricier side, but this is a great spot for a date night or just having a really good and unique meal. The service for us has always been excellent.

The dishes are on the pricier side, but this is a great spot for a date night or just having a really good and unique meal. The service for us has always been excellent.
Parks & Nature
Probably one of the most scenic and iconic parks in Charleston. This park is located at the tip of the peninsula and still has the canons from the Revolutionary War on display around the park. There is a gorgeous gazebo at the center and many giant old oak trees.

My favorite beach in all of Charleston. If you go to the left after reaching the end of Folly Road, and then go all the way down, you can park and head out to the beach for a view of the Morris Lighthouse. If you take a right, there is a state park and the beach has a lifeguard when it's in-season (you have to pay 5 or 10$, but there is guaranteed parking and showers and a bathroom.
Folly Beach Pier is not to be missed and has fantastic views. There are free showers available for use at the bottom of the pier. The bars on the beach often have live music.
