Parks & Nature
I love this sanctuary. It has multiple trails, one of which has a dock and bench about half way through the mile-long trail. I usually bring a book and read at the dock, with the only interruption being the sweet wild-life that nest in these trails. It's very quiet, and the trails are easy to navigate. *Watch out for small orange lizards, they're easy to miss while walking be careful not to step on them :)

Arts & Culture
This is an adorable yoga studio/ art gallery, that also sells books, art, candles and more! It's located in Scranton, so it's about a 30 minute drive. There are plenty of other places to visit while in Scranton, including great restaurants and during the Summer months visit "The Gorge Swimming Hole/Nay Aug Park". It's a nice hike, and theres a neat cliff to jump into the water from.

100 North Blakely StreetThis is an adorable yoga studio/ art gallery, that also sells books, art, candles and more! It's located in Scranton, so it's about a 30 minute drive. There are plenty of other places to visit while in Scranton, including great restaurants and during the Summer months visit "The Gorge Swimming Hole/Nay Aug Park". It's a nice hike, and theres a neat cliff to jump into the water from.

This quaint Zoo is located just under 10 minutes from the Community. They have Lions, and Tigers, and Bears - oh my ! It's great for kids, and if you visit during the week you pretty much have the entire zoo to yourself. You can also hand feed the Lori Parrots which is a wonderful experience.

It's great for kids, and if you visit during the week you pretty much have the entire zoo to yourself. You can also hand feed the Lori Parrots which is a wonderful experience.
For Horse Lovers - this barn is only about 15 minutes away. It's home to about 39 horses, large and small, with big personalities. I used to volunteer here years and years ago, and will always have a love for this place becasue of how much they love these horses, and how well they care for them. The views are absolutely stunning, and if you opt to pay for the longest ride (i believe is an hour and a half, but quite pricey), you'll get to gallop into the fields - it's a magical experience.
