A Marine Park, if not as well managed as one would hope, the snorkelling and diving are excellent. But please be careful who you choose to take you. Many boats are in a poor and unsafe state of repair and the crew have no training and many can't swim. Book with professionals - pay more and get a great deal more from the experience.

There is little indigenous forest left in Zanzibar and this place is wonderful. Not very large but we recommend you stop and explore the forest and the mangrove walk.
