Very local. Locals only most of the time. Though they do have events and then it will be a different group. awesome place to see the desert charm, the night sky or play pool listening to the jute box or maybe live music. Definitely off the beaten path!

Parks & Nature
This is my favorite part of the park. The Cholla really glow at sunset! It is about 50 minutes from the house so it is a bit of drive but a good place to go since you will be able to several stops through the national park like Barker Damn and skull rock. Head out to Joshua tree visitor center if you want to see those stops first as google maps will take you to the 29 palms visitor center. It is a case you can go one way and come home the other as it the same travel time unless there is traffic.
