A local favorite, Viv's is our go-to breakfast place! Viv's is a simple, family owned diner with affordable prices and the friendliest staff. They have a weekday morning special that can't be beat: $5.50 for coffee, 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, and either pancakes, biscuits and gravy, or hashbrowns and toast.

It's not a complete trip to the Southwest without delicious Mexican food, and El Charro is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We've never had better enchiladas. They even have their own beer, a delightful amber called "1922", which is brewed by the local Barrio Brewing Company.

Home to the nation's largest cacti, the giant saguaro is the symbol of the American West. Saguaro National Park offers a number of hiking trails and viewpoints to see these enormous cacti, silhouetted by the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset. The East park is located conveniently close to The Alamo.
