Love sitting on the deck looking over the Story Bridge, River and Kangaroo Point Cliffs while enjoying a fabulous meal.

The bartenders were very friendly and helpful, they even made us some custom cocktails. They have a wide variety of cocktail options, along with a variety of spirits and on tap options. The view of the river and story bridge from the seating outside is spectacular.

X- Cargo is a new venue made of shipping containers in the Valley. I recommend an awesome spot in one of the top containers and had a great view over the levels and dance floor. Perfect atmosphere and design with the fairy lights and murals.

One of the great places to visit if you're in Brisbane either as a tourist visiting or a local yourself. The exhibit changes throughout seasons and they are all interesting. The main exhibit usually will always have an entry price but it's well worth it. You just have to check the website for all the previous ones they have done. Good place to go on quiet dates and get "cultured".

Even if the show is not that good, it is a beautiful converted woolshed with a great view. Stroll through New Farm park and have a hit of Croquet or go play some Barefoot Bowls at Merthyr Bowls Club. Walk or got on a City Cycle and do the Riverwalk to Teneriffe. If you have the energy, and you like looking at Architecture check out the mansions on Teneriffe Hill. Some awesome modern architecture mixed in with classical Queenslander architecture.

Walk or got on a City Cycle and do the Riverwalk to Teneriffe. If you have the energy, and you like looking at Architecture check out the mansions on Teneriffe Hill. Some awesome modern architecture mixed in with classical Queenslander architecture.

Definitely make sure to visit the Powerhouse which is now arts and theatrical performances space. Deal so have nice bar and restaurant where you can dine in after seeing some art and cabaret shows.

Beautiful location with sweeping views of the city from across the Brisbane River. The park is cool in the shadow of the cliffs. Great place to people watch as it is quite busy and there are always activities going on (rock climbing included).

Three bars with food in the lower level if you need to snack. Staff are great too which adds to the all round great vibe.
Go see your favourite band there, or any band for that matter.
