Monzu Fresh Pasta - if you are in the mood for pasta or a flatbread, Monzu will be hard to beat. The owners, Aldo and Serena are from Naples Italy and really know their stuff! They would be happy to guide you through their seasonal pasta menu, or help you choose an italian wine that is just right for you. You can also phone in an order for takeout.

Salt & Whiskey (located in the Horton Hotel)- Wyatt Earp lived in this hotel for seven years going back to the 1880s. We figure he may have made a trip to the hotel's Bar once or twice. It is a beautifully decorated Victorian. The food and cocktails are pretty good too! We love the burger. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays, and their Sunday brunch in the hotel courtyard is not too shabby either. A 10 minute walk from the condo to the historic Gaslamp district of San Diego where the Horton Grand Hotel is located.
